Balgonie (2006 population 1,384; UA population 1,384) is a town in southeastern Saskatchewan, Canada, 23ꀀkm east of Regina beside the Trans-Canada Highway. It is one of the very few fastest and consistently growing municipality. In 1996 to 2001, the population grew 9.5%, and then the growth sped up, and in 2001 to 2006, the growth was 11.7%. Balgonie has a Subway, 2 gas stations, an outdoor pool, and a large new arena. It is also home to Greenall School and is currently second in Regina area public high schools to only Campbell Collegiate in Regina in the number of students who are successfully enrolled in a Canadian medical school.
